Just add Drums

I'm setting my 38 up for a remote tracking session of a friend. He plays classical guitar and Jazz. On this roll around is a Tascam 38, a Presonus M80 with Jensen transformers and opamps upgraded to opa627 and a Tascam M1B. The M1B allows him to hear the other tracks as he adds in each part.

But looking at it I realized that with a proper mic set for drums this would be able to lay down a great drum foundation to pull into digital for those who want it. I don't have a mic set for drums (suggestions?). I wonder what you could charge for an hour for this.

Regards, Ethan

not sure

Im not sure what to charge. But as you may have already considered, much of the drum sound will be based on their ability to tune, and the room they are in. It might be smart to have a few different choices of problem solving mics and maybe even a parametric EQ in there with the intent of having to solve a variety of different problems related to imperfect room types/drumset quality.

But im sure youve probably already considered that.
