Finally picked up a reel-to-reel machine after 3-4 yrs of looking. It's a one owner from a retired military officer. My price $20. Still packed in original box. Also got a couple of small Argos speakers ( will use them as monitors) anss a Pioneer QX-8000 quadrophonic receiver/amp. So I had a good lunch hour.
I've got the A-4300SX. I don't know what the difference the "SX" version makes, but I like the deck alot. I just have to send the pinch roller out to Terry in the not too distant future to have it reworked. It's a bit hard, but haven't noticed any slipping.
