Joe Pernice Vocal Mixing

Anyone here familiar with Joe Pernice and/or The Pernice Brothers? I've looked all over the net to get some ideas on how he mixes his lead vocals. For a sample, see:

Other than the reverb, it sounds like the lead vocals have a send to another track/bus with a leslie speaker effect and some flange on it. Then that, without any of the dry signal, is mixed to be just loud enough to barely hear so it sounds "behind" the main vocals.
