Jingle-jangle song here....

I thought the vocal was good. Sounded nice. I thought the jangly guitars were nice. Nice harmonies, I might bump them up a db or so. The bass was OK, but a little sterile sounding. I would personally prefer a warmer sound.

The drums are the weak part of the song. The snare sample doesn't have any power, and in the parts of the song when all the other tracks are kicked in, the drums get swallowed up.
 
GREAT thoughts, TripleM, thanks. I am gonna remix and remaster before sending it off to iTunes, so that helps a ton.
 
I'm with TripM regarding the drums. They sound as if they are an after-thought, just chucked on there at the end and not mixed where as they need to lock in with the bass and build the foundation of the song.

I like the sounds, just needs attention for me. Good stuff so far. :thumbs up:
 
I worked on the drums a bit, though I haven't replaced the version that's posted above yet. Anyone else have any thoughts on performance, engineering, mix, production?
