is this snake box any good???

Looks OK for the money; it'll get you a snake.

I was looking at that, but disregarded it because I always end up using returns for something. Now I'm starting to use powered monitors and cabs - the amps are at the speaker and I send line level signals all over the place. The returns are as important as the lines out because that's how I get signal to the mains.

Check out ProCo, Carvin and Peavey. All good stuff and the Carvin seems to have the best utility for the money.
 
Pro-co and carvin both have a 8ch w/4 sends for $200. But this av link snake sure looks tempting, for my studio. If you could see the one im using now, its hurting.(but free to use)
