is iso box necessary?

When i am done building my studio, my amp will be in a decently treated acoustic room. Recording wise, is it necessary..or beneficial to have an iso box for a guitar amp?

Is it necessary? No.

Can it sometimes be beneficial? Yes.

It depends a lot on whether you plan to record one track at a time or multiple tracks at once. If you plan to record more than one part at a time, isolation for the amp (other amps too) will make it easier to keep the tracks seperate and cut out bleedover.
