Is Cubase SX good for Macs?

I currently have Sonar 2.0 and am thinking about making the switch to a Mac (probably a Power Book). I have a bunch of Steinberg VST plug-ins (Groove Drummer, Virtual Guitarist, Hypersonic), so I thought I might as well do the whole steinberg thing.
However, i've heard that Steinberg is focusing less on Macs since it became part of Pinnacle.

Are there any people out there who might have some thoughts about whether or not Cubase is the best choice for a Mac?

Thanks a lot,

I've used Cubase SX on a mac before and it seemed pretty solid. Its a really nice program... I think I prefer it over protools.

Performance of SX2 was poor compared to my othe Mac DAWs. (Logic6, DP4)
I moved my license to my PC where performance is much better.

It choked my new Powerbook at ten tracks, I'm able to do sessions of 48+ tracks on the same machine with Logic & DP.

Steinberg is not competitive on Mac!
