Good afternoon. Pleased to be here and seeking gentle, helpful advice.
I have a basic home studio and I wish to optimise it.
My level is very slightly more advanced than absolute beginner.
I live in Scotland.
I write and produce Celtic music on guitar and keyboard which I market to Scotophiles in the USA.
I have produced two previous CD's of mediocre quality.
I wish to find the best way to connect my existing equipment for optimal results (I do not wish to spend any more money for now);
Improve on my knowledge;
Improve the recorded quality of my CD's.

I would assume that I should post my inventory in another post and request help there?
