Interface Help Please!

I am trying to set up a recording rig, and need information, so any and all would be apprectiated. I want to run mics to an interface and mix the tracks all on my laptop, but i have been having trouble finding a interface that will work. i need atleast 10 mic inputs, and would preffer a firewire connection, so if anyone could suggest a interface for me i would appreciate it. thanks

Two 8Pres will give you 16 mic inputs.
An 828mkII and an 8Pre will give you 10mic inputs plus 8 line inputs plus S/PDIF and MIDI.

theres that.

theres RME, they make something as well. plus, presonus makes the firepod, which you could hook up to something like an ADA8000 and get 16 channels if i/o.

theres so many out there.

m-audio 1814, digidesign digi 002 (thats what i got), m-audio project mix..

plenty of stuff out there.

What are some exaples of interfaces with lots of channels like that, but in a USB form? I also need to find a solution to recording drums

none. usb is NOT for recording multi channel.
