Increasing disk space for Cakewalk

Hello, when I record in Cakewalk, large files are produced. This leaves me with not enough disk space to install more free VSTi's. How can I get rid of unused or junk files? I have a Windows PC. Thank you, Neville
 
.How big are you talking about? The easiest way to get more space it to buy a larger hard drive, clone the old one onto the new one and carry on. Alternately, add a second drive and move all data files to that drive. A 2 TB hard drive is cheap!! Even a 1 TB SSD is cheap these days. A 1TB Samsung Evo 870 SATAS SSD is under $70. Fast and cheap. About 6 screws, plug in two plugs and you are running.
