Im Running nuendo...what is a good, DAW control surface?

I checked out the
Tascam FW-1082
Tascam FW-1884
mackie HUI.
Any suggestions , preferably under $400?
I have a firepod that im running now but im old school and like physical faders and knobs in front of me.
can I use one of those control surfaces with the firepod as well?

doesnt steinberg make their own control?? it may lack faders if i remember but the behringer bcf2000 is excellent, dont let the brand put you off...this is a gem
