OK, I wasn't exactly sure where to post this one, But I'm looking for a mixer (or something) so that I can hook my CD player directly up to my amp and monitors. I own a Yamaha aw4416 and don't really wanna have to switch it on everytime I wanna listen to a CD thru my lovely Event 20/20's. So I guess I'm looking for an INESPENSIVE mixer to be able to do this....any suggestions.

The cheapest thing you could do would be to pick up a line level switch from Radio Shack. It's a passive A/B/C switch that'll have three sets of RCA's and a common output to your monitor amp. You just select the source and hit play. I personally wouldn't do this, but it would work. A Mackie 1202VLZ would worknicely. You'd get four stereo inputs with a level control on each and four decent mic pre's as a bonus. That's a little closer to my liking. Just MHO.
