I'll Go Quietly


I went direct with my Taylor 310ce Dreadnought Cutaway (not entirely happy with the sound) and used an SM57 for vocals.

I went direct with a Fender P-Bass.

I used PC Drummer 5 software and used the demo version kick and snare from Drumagog.

Maybe too much reverb on the vocals. Drums don't really fit (same issue with Truth 2.0). The choked crash cymbal is annoying.

Direct bass and acoustic guitars sound good though. May want to add a touch of dense chorus and reverb to the guitars, depending on where you decide each should sit in the mix. The recording is good as a dry recording, but it could sound better with a light hand on the effects nob.
