With sound forge 4 you could use cd Architect. With five you could no longer because they bundled it with Vegas. Now You can Buy Cd Architect again But you can no longer extract audio from a CD in Sound Forge 6. Is this common practice with software companys? I realize that it might take you some time to figure out which direction you want to go but it is a little frustrating to upgrade and find they have taken away your tools.

I should be writing this to Sonic Foundry.
 
Gotcha Brad. They moved it to the file menu thanks for the heads up. Why does somebody owe you 600 motherlovin posts?
 
No problem.



Sometime about a year ago, I had about 1200 posts. Something went awry with the BBS and a few of us mysteriously lost half of our post count. I guess I am the only one who was/is bitter about it.

Or honest enough to own up to it. Anyhow consider my knee jerk deactivated. Obviously I am glad to have not written to Sonic Foundry.
