not dating, im talking my setup lol
Ok, i've been racking my brain like CRAZY for the last couple weeks. i've never dealt with hardware hookups, only software. Here's what Im trying to do.
I've got an MPC1000 with 4 assignable outs, an Alesis 3630 compressor, a Lexicon MX200 effects processor im LOOKING to buy soon and a Mackie U420 4 channel line mixer...ok
Im wanting to run my mono kicks through an assignable out on my MPC1000 into my Alesis 3630 compressor, apply compression live and also run the same kicks through the LexiconMx200 and apply a reverb effect. HOW WOULD I DO THIS ALL AT ONCE WITHOUT HOOKING and UNHOOKING CABLES?
Here's how im thinking it should be hooked up
MPC1000 assignable out---->Alesis 3630 using an insert effects cable
then using another insert effects cables, Alesis 3630 Sidechain jack----->mx200 L/R in
then using 1/4 stereo->1/4 cable, mx200 L/R out--->Mackie stereo channel 1
