I need the best drum synths/samples out there, suggestions??

Could people give me suggestions on how I can get a hold of some incredible drum sounds??

You need entire software like BDF or superior drummer? Or just samples?

I love Goldbaby and Wave alchemy samples, not sure how thet are suited for pop


Of course theres vengeance samples, which just about every producer uses, and also zenhiser, who have some decent kits

Have a look at NIs Maschine too, covers just about all genres

I like to kludge together samples of random noises that I hear and stuff from Sampleswap.

May or may not work for pop.

Maschine looks incredible, but it's a little expensive for my taste!
What software would you suggest for pop? and if it's suited to rock that would be great as well!!

Superior Drummer and EZ Drummer both have an extensive EZX collection of pop sounds and rhythms.

Yup superior, addictive drums, BFD, steven slate, would all cover what you want...they all have budget versions for the cash strapped thatll do if you dont need indepth tweaking
