I need a "BOOST" on my leads.

I play a Les Paul Studio straight into my Marshall ... I think it's a Superlead Re-Issue...

It sounds great, but I need something extra for my leads. Is there a pedal you guys recommend for me to stomp on when I play my leads?

Sounds like you're a purist and want to keep it that way so there are a few I suggest - all depends on your budget.

I use Fulltone pedals: http://www.fulltone.com

The fat boost is cool but really many of his pedals will do you just fine - like an OCD or even a Fulldrive 2.

Also check out the Lift by divided by 13:

as well as the RC Booster-

They're all great pedals, jsut a matter of persoal taste in the end.

I used to really like putting an EQ in my effects loop. I would just boost the frequencies I wanted for leads. Always worked better for me than a overdrive because I could really dial in a different tone, and get alot louder.

I have a Zakk Wylde MXR overdrive. By far the coolest boost pedal I have used. To me it feels like a tube screamer cuts the head off your tone, and it is for the most part the best that I have used otherwise. The MXR will give you more punch without much coloration to your sound. (I like its overdrive too though).
