I have no affiliation with this company, but I just ordered a firewire 1814 last week and it came in today. These guys are legit, so I don't know how they've got this unit for $100 cheaper than everywhere else. I figured I'd share the e-wealth? Anyway if you were in the market for this unit, this is a killer deal. Mine cam shrinkwrapped and packaged retail.
