Before I format my computer I have created several songs already but when I install winxp again and sonar, it can't recognize my sound card already! before I was using Total Recorder 3.4 and sonar was able to detect it too as my driver but now it could not recognize it already, and even my SiS 7012 sound Card. How is it possible I just recorded several songs already before I format my comp. please help me here!!!

Perhaps you need to supply drivers for it.
For ex., WinXp does not have native drivers for my Delta 1010. I need to provide them on a floppy disk so Windows can use them.
Have you checked the Device Manager in Windows? What do you see?
