What's a "basst"?

I might turn down the horns, etc at the beginning just a tad. They don't leave enough headroom for the loud parts coming up to really stick out.

At the end, you have the tape hiss effect happening except during the cut outs. I assume this is intentional?

Otherwise, this is a pretty cool piece. Lots of interesting ideas and generally unpredictable.
 
Enjoyed this. Loved the pic.

But it needs lyrics IMO, which with a vocalist will take your mix (and difficulty of mixing it in) to the next level.

Pretty awesome piece. Seems a little bright to me on my headphones. Would love to hear what a talented rapper can do with it, if you're aiming for hip hop I'm guessing?
 
the tape hiss effect was in sample automatically so i make those thing lil bigger :)
