I Can not carry a tune-Will a voice processor help?

First of all I am just trying to make the best rough demo I can to convey my songs to a vocalist to learn for a proper demo. I have excellent guitar/weak piano skills but I can not carry a note. The vocalist needs to understand my melody. I have a Tascam DP-02 Would a vocal processor help? I just need the vocalist to understand my melody. I would kill for Burt Bacharachs voice. For those who don't know is a great composer but his vocal skills are very bad. I do not read music.

write the melody vocal guide track in guitar or piano - it helps the singer to have a guidetrack they can hear to sing to - you can edit out the track in mixdown

For what you'd spend on a vocal processor (or less),
why not take vocal lessons?

You might be better than you realize or at least be able to make demos.

if you can't sing, a processor will help as much as if you can't play guitar, or drums or whatever else. you have to have some skills to begin with.

Learn the lines on the guitar. You can't bend notes on a piano.
