I currently have a hybrid set up that consist of my macbook pro, digi 002 PTLE, tube compressor, and a sonic maximizer.
Well needless to say I am sick of having to manually fix the latency issue with using outboard gear. I have looked into it and you can fix this by getting a mixer with Direct outs and connecting everything to a patchbay. that way everything has the same latency and no worries about hearing that terrible insert delay.
My question is, if I were to get a mixer (atleast 16channels) with direct outputs. How would I go about wiring everything up in order for this to work?
