I just won both these on ebay and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with either of them. They were made in the late 80's and were marketed as more of a rackmount preamp but they are actually a 1 watt poweramp as well.

The cream machine uses a 12ax7 in the preamp and a 12au7 for the output tube and is mostly heavy gain metal tone. The crunch master uses a 12ax7 in the preamp and an El83 for the output and is more of the fender clean and bluesy crunch tone..They both got great reviews on harmony central and some folks have used different tubes for brighter tones etc.

I'm familiar wth H & K amps and had an Attax 200 in the past and loved the sound i got from it.Unfortunately it was stolen. My other guitarist had used a H & K tube 100 and it sounded great also.If these sound as good as the ones i'm familiar with i'll be a happy guitar player.

With low watt amps getting more popular for recording at home these are just what i was looking for.
