I have been using HS 2004 for several months now and so far I've done fairly well with it, basically I haven't gotten into any trouble using it. Anyhow, I recommened it to a friend and he got it so that we could exchange ideas and colaborate on projects. The problem that he is having is that when he tries to record a track or listen to the playbacks HS will start doing what it is supposed to do and then shut down within seconds (stop recording or playing, not close out). He is able to record a signal and hear it for a brief moment during playback but that is it. I haven't had a lot of luck finding a thread that covers this , but there a lot of threads within this forum. I figure there will be questions about operating system .... that info i will have to get but i do know a few things;
AMD 2800
1 GB RAM
Windows XP
Sound Card......? (I know it isn't a real quality card)
I haven't had this problem with my system so I'm not sure where to point him, but if anyone could help out..... or reference a thread it would be greatly appreciated
