How would you mix this?

Hey guys,
I have a cover that I recorded, I am trying to mix it to get it to sound as clean and crisp as possible and sit well in this dense mix, I have gotten it to sound pretty good but not amazing yet.

The song is called "wake me up".

Here is what I will do, first I will post up the best result I have gotten. Then I will post up the instrumental file and and vocal file dry so that you guys can do your best to try and mix them the way you would normally to get it to sound great.

What happened to the the guitar when the vocals came in? They went from sounding pretty good to mushy.

Do you mean the high pass filtering that happens there? that is how the song goes. If not, then i'm not sure what you mean. Has anyone had a chance to take a stab at it?
