I just bought an AT3035... great, but the shockmount it comes with is weird. I can't seem to find any locks or able to stretch any of the openings. I've looked at the manual and picture and it doesn't say anything. I'm trying to push the mic into the shockmount, but I'm only doing it forcefully...there is no snap or lock, and I don't know if it's stayed still or not. Anyone have suggestions?

Push the XLR side in. If it doesn't go in with a little bit of pressure, turn the shockmount around and it should go in no problem.
