How to run MPC 2000XL thru Pro Tools LE M Box 2??

I got a MPC 2000XL with a floppy disk that came with like 3 kicks on it. not much memory to put more Im trying to load more sounds onto the MPC and/or just run it through Pro Tools. What cable do i need to hook the MPC 2000XL to the M Box 2? what else do i need? thanks
 
1/4" trs jack cables and midi cables?

What are you actually trying to do? It's not a unit I have any experience of so I'm just speculating...
 
I have the MPC 2500 so i am not sure if the 2000xl has midi or not, I would think so. But you need to run the MPC thru the Mbox via midi to trigger anything in protools. If you go the 1/4 plug route, you can still record in pro tools via the line input, but it would only be the sounds that you already have on the MPC. The Mbox 2 mini does not have midi and you can only use the 1/4 input.
