How to master... ambient track?

Hey guys,

A buddy of mine asked me to master this short little intro for him. I'm relatively new to mastering and I'm wondering what you would do to this track.

I've done a couple different masters on it, it's been interesting though because it's so atmospheric.

Right click on the webpage and hit "Save as" to download the audio file, if anyone wants to have a go at it.

Cheers,
- Zac

I'm not a mastering engineer so I can't really give you any advice...
I just wanted to mention that I think the track is really cool.
It sounds like an ocean of expanding (but very gentle) sound waves.

theres not really much to master if this is how the tune remains throughout...Id stick a limiter on it and bring up its volume

does the tune have many more parts coming into play?

As long as the low end translates good you should be ok. I like to keep intros sometimes a hair lower than the song they precede... which gives the next song more impact. It's relative.

Thanks for the replies. I only received this track, it's the intro to a music video he's working on, not sure how the rest of the song follows. I did a couple things to it, mostly just bringing up the loudness. Either way the individual was happy with how it sounded. :)
