How Many Guitars do you own

I needed some money so I am now down to 3 bass guitars and 3 electrics and my violin but I always have something on the bench.
of course my son has a lot I have handed down.

I have 3 but one is an old archtop in need of repair and hasnt been used for the last 10 years or so.

The two I use are;

1927 Gibson L4 Archtop that I had refinished about 20 years ago which currently has a ebony bridge.

Fender Strat project, which is a 2008 chinese made Squire body and the rest is after market parts [or home-made]. It has Les Paul style circuit based around 2 1968 Gibson P-90s.

The new neck in the picture has a ebony fretboard I am going to have attached early 2011, once I make a final decision on the strings I am going to use.

I have reverse wired the pots and I am not really happy about this so may resolder them before I send it off to the Luthier.

The only other guitar I am ever likely to purchase would be a Gibson L7.

5 acoustics, 3 classical and 2 electric...of course half of them are entry level...the ones I play most...G&L s-500 and Finish made Espana acoustic and(although I have a much better classical) a noname hand-built classical. The no name was $85 and I cleaned it up and refinished it. It is surely not a great sounding guitar, but it is such a joy to play.

Of course all my babies get taken out and played from time to time...why have 'em if ya don't play them.

Update: I traded my SG Special Faded + Bigsby for an '00 Martin B-1 ABG.

So now it's a '60s Ventura V-7 with custom top and bridge, '86 Bull Frog Mountain custom flamed maple jumbo, 11/84 Dobro D-60 round neck, late '30 Regal spider bridge reso, '90s Samick HF-650, '00 Gibson ES-335, '06 Fender '51 P reissue, '07 Classic '50s P, '08 fretless natural ash/maple P, '09 AV '57 P, and the Martin. Pictures at 11.

Don't get me started on amps.

Saw a 4 x 10 bassman (I think?) in cherry condition for $3500 Actually made me think of you (that is you with all the Fenders "by the pool" isn't it? Or am I thinking of someone else?)
