How is my mix translating?

Well, IMO, everything sounds over compressed to the point it gives me ear fatigue and the vocal effect doesn't do much much to complement the song either. As compressed as it is, the song lacks bottom end; that real kick in the ass. Not necessarily a bad tune but the mix needs work.

I just can't ever get low end out of my mixes, just treated my room and got new monitors so just messing around with translation.

For me, the guitars seem very prominent in the mix. I think they should come down a bit, especially the chunkings (or whatever it's called) during the verses. Other than that, it's pretty close to being done... nothing muddled or too soft. Over all good mix, good song and good performance.

Ah, the song ended too soon. Need more!!! :D
 
second mix sounds more open (i.e. less compressed) and much better mix IMO.

The bass is kinda buried, the volume is fine but i think it needs some EQ tweaks to make it less muddy.
