How durable is a typical LD Condensor?

I was uncablefying my se1000 mic and it fell to the floor from about 5 and a half feet and since it was hanging upside down, it landed grill first. I was relieved to find out it still worked having known that LD condensors are typically fragile. Am I wrong? Are they more durable than I thought? How about my small diaphragms? Are they any more or less durable than my LD?

Now my se1000 is resting comfortably right in front of the bass hole on the drumset .
