Well awhile ago I mentioned I was having trouble with the reverb on cakewalk and how much I hated it on my audio track. Somebody suggested going to www.directxfiles.com to get some better some plug-ins. The problem is I don't know how to do this stuff. I'm a newbie. What do I d/l and how do I set it up in cakewalk? I don't know how any of this stuff works obviously, can somebody run me through step by step?

You use them essentially the same way you use the native PA9 effects - patch them into the FX bin.
When you download a DirectX effect, it will typically have an install program with it. Just install it as you would any other Windows program, and it will show up automatically in the effect selections in PA9.
