How do I start Podcasting?

 Hi everyone,

It's been a good year or so since i written in this bbs. I'm now at the point of moving my internet radio station between formats. Over the last five years I have simply loaded my web-server with a number of .wma files. People clicked on the link (http://www.2prfm.com/studio.html), which contained a .asx file, which linked their windows player to the .wma file located at my server. (http://www.2prfm.com/on-air/programxx.wma) The xx denotes the program number.

I'm now starting to do some podcasting, and of last night uploaded my first podcast, (http://www.2prfm.com/podcasts/podcast001.xml). I followed the steps in the feedforall.com webpage. Downloaded the program, and then went through the wizard.

My first podcast has been encoded using Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 6, into mp3 format at a 64 bit rate, as recommended by many of the podcast sites. After uploading the 30 minute media file in mp3 format, I then uploaded the accompanying xml file, that was created in feedforall, into the same directory. I think this is supposed to be my so called (RSS file)???????

I'm using a 1.7gig computer with 128 RAM Memory / Win ME / Sound Forge 6 / WS FTP and MS Publisher web publishing software.

Just wondering if somebody could checkout my podcast, and see if I'm doing the right thing. Got a horrible feeling that I've done something wrong. Any help is much appreciated.
