How do I import a MIDI file with Sonar XL 2.2?

Isn't there an option to import MIDI??... failling that, you can just open the MIDI file in Sonar (File, Open), then copy and paste, into another project, or after opening it, you can save it as a project.

I think I know what he's talking about, and I haven't had much luck, either. Still Dreamin, are you talking about importing a MIDI file into a project that's already in progress? I know you can just open a MIDI file, but if I have a few tracks already recorded in a project, I don't think it's possible to import an existing MIDI file. If I'm wrong, please let me in on how to do this!

never mind.........................I just did it. All you have to do is open your folder containing the MIDI file and drag & drop it onto a new MIDI track. Not exactly rocket science!! I hope this is what you're asking to do. If not, sorry, but this was most helpful for me!!:D
