How Do I Achieve This Affect? (Don't Know the Name of It)

I'm looking to add a affect to my song that I do not know the name or how to achieve. I have my theories (using a lot of compressor or hard limiter), but they are only speculation, as of now I have not tried them. You can see the affect i want in the backing track link at 1:15 in the song. I want it to focus around the kick just like this. Any ideas?

The song didn't post so the name of it is With Your Friends (Original Mix) by Skrillex. The time of the afftect can clearly be heard at 1:15 in the song (one minute and fifteen seconds).

Look into sidechaining compression.

That is definitely not side chain compression. Although I'm always welcome to being wrong.
