If you're refering to solicited as in "the record company will not accept unsolicted material", a copyright won't do it. Basicly, A&R people at record companies only listen to material brought to them through industry insiders (entertainment lawyers, etc..) and will not accept stuff that is just sent to them from common schmucks like you and me. There are also services like TAXI that cost about $500 a year to join that gives you some access to labels.
There is a very technical phrase to get your music "solicited". It is (drum roll please)....................................
"Who you know". If you know the right people, you can get it to the even more "right" people. A better question would be "How do I get to know the right people"? That one is part luck, part talent, part where you live, etc.
