How can I tell if my Oktava is an original or a remake?

Hello all,

I bought an Oktava MK-319 at a pawn shop in March and I was wondering if there is a way to tell if it is a remake or the real deal. Any help would be much appreciated. Also, what is the difference between the real thing and the remake (performance wise)?

I think the jury is still out regarding the sonic difference between the "real" and "fake" mics.

That site is for the MK-012 mics. I'm not sure if the MK-319's have the same issue or not. I haven't seen reports of imitation MK-319's; just the MK-012's.
