I don't have a powerfull pc: P4 1.5 mhz with 1gb ram
I use cubase 2.2.39 and my soundcard is a USB edirol UA1A

I use USB AUDIO ASIO DRIVER, but to use it I have to set the latency at levels my CPU can't handle. I was thinking, If I get a EMU0404 PCI soundcard

Will that card help me with the latency without pushing my CPU to the limit?
