Hosting websites

Hi all,

I know there are a number of threads talking about publicity etc, but I wanted to ask a more specific question about the various hosting websites (Reverbnation, Bandcamp, Soundcloud etc).

I'm looking to put some tracks up somewhere, so I can then share/promote them through facebook and my own website. So I wanted to ask which of these sites people would recommend or otherwise, and any advantages/disadvantages.

All of the hosting sites will let you host your mp3s, obviously. What other features are you looking for that one or the other might offer that others don't?

If all else fails, just get your own domain so that you may control the entire website with your music. If you need good noting, there is iPage and Fatcow, both affordable hosts.
