As some of you know Lexicon was bought out in 2003. I recently called them regarding a legacy LXP model and all I can say is what the f**k???
The person I talked to was insulting, defensive and argumentative. He also seemed to have no clue how many people still like the old units. I had a very simple question about parts availability. He wouldn’t let me finish a sentence… kept cutting me off. He also acted like I was crazy for wanting to maintain a product that was discontinued so many years ago.
I have said before that the new Lexicon is not like the old Lexicon as far as quality products, so there is no love lost here. But this sort of conduct by the support department is just uncalled for. He had to be young because he thought ten years was a long time , but still no excuse for acting like a jerk.
I won’t even so much as look at any future Lexicon products until these assholes are bought out by someone else. Lexicon was always a name to be trusted back in the day. This drives the final nail in their coffin as far as I’m concerned… just another memory of better days. Lexicon no longer exists.
(End of Rant)
