whats the preferred software for ridding unwanted noise from tracks before burning them to cd's?. I have a built in program with Easy CD,but I'm looking for something a bit more involved. Thanks.:)
 
Many audio editors have noise removal options. Your best bet is always to re-record the tracks without the noises. If you are restoring old stuff than something like SoundForge, Wavelab or CoolEditPro are pretty good.
 
Thanks.These are for old vinyl records that are somewhat noisy.I only have software that came with my Cmedia sound chip for recording from the "line-in" plug.I was wanting something to try and do a more professional job..Thanks for the tip....:)
 
I saw they were selling steinberg clean at guitar center for $9.00 the other day... all new in box.

Dont know how good it is though.
