Hiss/Noise Constant fuzz!

Hi all, hope someone can answer me this i've looked everywhere for the answer..

Basically, I plug my microphone and studio monitors in to the mixer then plug the output of mic in to comp and the output of speakers in to computer.

But there is always noise on speakers when i turn them up to a medium level and when I click record there is always noise when recording too..

The only reason I can see for this is the soundcard I have isn't capable of handling all this equiptment.

I have the standard soundcard that came with the computer..

There's a high likelihood that it is your soundcard. You should think about investing in an interface designed for recording.

Thanks for quick reply this is the email I had off the company where I bought the computer from..

"As standard the X2 Project doesnt come with a ASIO souncard, that is to be added as an extra. There is an onboard Soundcard that we disable in the BIOS but you can enable it to use it if you wish for standard music playing of mp3's etc."

So i'm guessing if I get a better soundcard this will solve my problem.

Like gz said, think about a recording interface. I guess some people use the term sound card and interface interchangeably.
