Hi all, Thought I;d post up as I;m new here. I've been recording since the mid 80's (mostly sequencing back then) and made the jump to audio recording about 10 yrs ago.
I started with a Mackie SRM2404 which was a live mixer then and worked my way up to a mackie 2408 8 buss and and 3 m-audio Delta 1010. Software wise I've seen Cakewalk from when it was a DOS product all the way to Cakewalk Sonar XI.
The 8 buss just flew the coop, (old age) and I bought an old tascam tm-d9000 Digital console (newer then my Mackie!). It's hooked in via TDIF to 2 MOTU 2408's for 40 channels at mixdown. I'm stilllearning how to get transport/MMC running.
Anyhow like many of us here I hope to learn as well as help out others on the forum.
cheers
Keith
