Im a Lead Guitarist in a band and have just started getting into home recording demo's..

I need some decent monitor's. I dont want to spend much and i have an opportunity to grab a pair of Stanton ATM.6's. They look like a great speaker but there isnt much info on the net..

Has anyone any experience with these ??

They have a 6" woofer.

Thanks !

If you can get them for under $100 go for it. They'll no doubt serve as well as any sub-$100 monitors. They were marketed as DJ monitors so are probably anything but flat response. Nothing in that price range would be. No matter what you get for monitors, you have to learn how to *listen* to them, and learn how to adjust mixes so they sound well everywhere. Lots of tips on this throughout these forums. Burn a disc after mixing and listen on every system you can find.

Thanks for the reply man.. I have done some reading and they are pretty much KRK Rokit RP6 clones.
On Stanton's page they have KRK listed as one of their sister companies.

ANd yes, i got them very cheap. 1/3rd the price of RP6's over here is Sydney..
