Helpp Importing Audio

Okay So This Is Whats Happening
I Tried To Import An Audio Track Into My Pro Tools Session By Going To
File>import>audio
When I Click On The Audio Track In There Usually It Will Copy Into The Region But Its Not !
And Therefor I Cant Import My Audio !
Helppp Much Appreciated
 
when you go to the import window, look at the very bottom of that window. It will usually say "not compatible with Pro Tools" or "name is too long, needs to be less than 32 characters" ...or something similar.


Also, is it an mp3?
 
Yeah Its An Mp3 !
But Its Beats That I Have Imported Into Pro Tools Before !
So I Dont Know Why It Would Just Start Messin Up Like This
 
wouldn't be that.
PT doesn't allow importation of MP3s unless you have the extra MP3 option. You have to purchase it separately.

Exactly. Use iTunes or something similar to convert it to a PCM file.

Even better, try and find the original PCM that you would've bounced out of PT..
