I have a compaq computer with audio card built in. I bougth a 2496 delta series from midiman.
it come with drivers for winXP. when I installed the card windows display a message about digital signature.
I don't take care and continue the installation.
The card was installed and work properly, but when shut down the machine for any reason , when I try to start again, the machine is freeze, doesn't work.
If take out the card, the computer work OK.
could somebody explain me whats happen?

that's just winblows infinite BS, just install the driver, believe me, i seen it hundreds of times and blew it off, or do a google and see what they say about the "issue" of M$...

it does it to 98% of drivers, it's nothing new that's for sure...

try a different pci slot, or different driver...

nostromo - go to the M-Audio website and download the latest drivers for the Audiophile.
