Help with my Hook Up

I finally got everything I need to start recording. I got a great deal on ebay for my MXL990, and it has just been sitting waiting. Now I have my mic, lexicon alpha usb interface, also got a good deal on that, Nady Phantom power, pop filter, and I'm waiting on the stand.

My question is, how do I hook all of these things up? I am assuming:

Mic > Phantom Power > Usb Interface?

I just don't want to ruin anything.

What's the Nady phantom power unit?
Doesn't the Alpha USB unit have phantom power for the mic input?

But yes, you have the right idea for connection: Mic gets plugged into mic input (usually on a preamp), gets supplied with phantom power (again usually from preamp) and output from preamp gets plugged into the A/D converter hooked to the computer.

Tips:
Turn phantom power on after plugging mic in.
Turn phantom power off & wait about 20 seconds before unplugging mic.

Ok. Thanks guys. It is working now, however, I am only getting playback from the right side in windows. Also, for laughs, I tried to talk to my friends on Ventrilo, and all I got was noise and absolutely no voice. Any thoughts?
