Help With Mic Pre Amps!! £100-£250!

Hello..

Recently i have bought a Rode Nt-1a For Around £160..

I have been telling myself to get myself a Mic Pre..,

Im running on a Mac Os-X, 2Gb 306Ghz ( upgrading RAM soon ), i am using pro tool se with A Fast track usb.. nooby i know! but thats why i am here!!

[ SOFTWARE RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED... BETWEEN £100-£200.. ]

I only want to record Vocals Only.. no guitar etc..

i want to find that good Pop/HipHop/RnB Sound..., People have recommened mixers. E.g Soundcraft Notepad Fx 124..

But would want a good pre amp please!! questions will be answered!

GAP pre73 fits in that price range.
However if you are looking to get different sound then you might be considering buying another mic instead of pre.
