Help - Track Assignment From Motu To Cubase Sl/sx

HELP...
I have been working mainly on Roland workstations. I just purchased Cubase SL w/Mackie control and MOTU 896. Everything is default mapped 1:1. How do I change track assignments in Cubase so that I can select any input on the MOTU to be the source to that track????????
