Help Rode NTK

Hi

I just got my rode ntk. I already plug everything correctly from the microphone, to the phantom power supply and finally to my soundcard.

Every cable and settings are properly set, but when I try to record something, it does not work. is there anything else that I need that i don't know ?

Yes, it came with its power supply and is already plugged.
and no, I don't have a preamp, just the power supply.
Is there a chance that the seller from eBay sold me a bad Mic?

You cant use a microphone without a mic preamp.

Maybe your soundcard has one built in. What soundcard is it?

You do need a mic preamp with the NTK. You should plug the mic into the power supply, the power supply into the preamp, and the preamp into the line in on your soundcard.
